Logos, apparel, advertisments, brochures, websites, plus so much more - You're only limited by your imagination, now that you have the tools.

Q: Are the filters customizable?
A: You can use any number of additional built-in Photoshop effects to modify the filters once they're applied, We've created a bonus online forum with sections that teach you how to extend the range of effects these filters can create and modify the look of the wash effects.

Q: Where did you come up with such a cool product idea?
A: Read about the history of how the Machine Wash Image Filters came to be here!

Q: What is the maximum size I can use these filters at?
A: They are designed to be used at a maximum live area of 18" x 18" at 300 dpi. While they can be used for larger sizes, you may notice some reduction in the quality of the filter. For most projects, we find these sizes are more than adequate for your needs.

Q: Will these work on my Macintosh/Windows computer? What OS?
A: You bet! You must have a Macintosh or Windows computer capable of running Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and higher, and Photoshop Elements 1.0 and higher. We also recommend a 4X or faster CD-ROM drive to read/transfer the CD data.

The Machine Wash Image Filters will run on Macintosh operating systems from OS 9.0 through the most current OSX. Windows users can use these filters on Windows 2000 on up through the most current Windows XP operating systems.

While the plug in will run with 256mb of RAM, we strongly recommend you have at least an additional 100mb of RAM installed on your computer to run the plug-in in Photoshop or Elements, you will notice significantly enhanced performance with more RAM installed in your computer and allocated to Photoshop.

The plug-in requires less than 500k of hard drive space. Also, while it's not necessary, should you choose to copy any of the wash files to your hard drive, you'd need approximately 11 MB of hard drive space per filter you wish to copy locally to your hard drive or approximately 360mb per collection.

Q: Are there any restrictions on the usage of these filters?
A: If you are creating a property for broadcast media including animation, credits, titling, production asstes, etc., AND/OR if you are developing a video game and require the use of the textures provided in the collection(s) in whole or in part, you must contact us for express written permission for these uses. In addition, you may also be required to purchase additional licensing for these purposes.

In addition if you wish to create products for sale such as digital or printed scrapbook layounts where the results of the filters are the primary design of the image, additional licensing is required. As a general rule of thumb, any image you create that primarily consists of the results of the filters requires additional licensing if you wish to resell it. If you're not sure if your design violates this restricton, please contact us and we'll be happy to let you know.
